Bishop Walter was disseised of the manor of Melbourne before 5 Mar 1233,
but it was restored to him on 12 Jul 1234 (CChR 1226-57, p. 175;
CCR, 1231-4, p. 471). Walter Mauclerc resigned as bishop of Carlisle
