This exceptionally rare pamphlet from a Labour Party branch is not known to survive in any other publicly accessible collection other than Senate House Library’s Heisler Collection. It relates to a disagreement over members of the Conservative Party standing in local elections while denying links to any particular political party. In the hands of this pamphleteer, this becomes a very highly charged issue, which he distills into an issue of ‘democracy or dictatorship’.
