This pamphlet, printed by the Chile Solidarity Campaign, was printed following Augusto Pinochet’s 1973 military coup that overthrew the elected government of Salvador Allende. The resulting military junta and the presidency of Pinochet led to suppression of dissent. This work called for international trade union solidarity with Chilean workers and supported the Central Unica de Trabajadores de Chile (CUT), the trade union federation there.
