Women and US Foreign Policy Interview Project

The aim of this site is to provide a platform for research into the multidimensional relationship between women and US foreign policy. What, for example, is it like for a woman to work for the US State Department? Does gender inform US foreign policy making, and if so, in what ways? And how does US foreign policy, whether asked or imposed, shape the lives of women that are its recipients? These and other questions are to be explored in this hub.

This project was originally produced by the Institute for the Study of the Americas, and is now being hosted by IHR Digital.
