Transactions of the Royal Historical Society

The Transactions of the Royal Historical Society, published every year since 1872, comprises the papers read before the Society. Papers range from the annual Presidential address and the Prothero Lecture given by scholars at the height of the profession to papers given by younger scholars through the competitions sponsored by the Society. The Society encourages papers of a more reflective and wide-ranging nature than the standard journal fare.
