Images in history
The use of images in history can be seen to mean several things, whether it be the evidence of the past that is provided by the use of paintings and later photography as historical source material, or more recently the use of increasingly sophisticated technologies to allow for the digital imaging of key texts, in projects such as the British Library's The Electronic Beowulf.
