Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for History, Classics and Archaeology

The Higher Education Academy (HEA) was formed in 2004 through the amalgamation of the Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN), the Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (ILTHE) and the Higher Education Staff Development Agency (HESDA). The Subject Centre for History, Classics and Archaeology (HCA) is one of 24 such centres within the HEA, each designed to support teaching and learning in particular disciplines through the identification, collection and dissemination of information and material on good practice in teaching and learning.
