Introduction
1807 Commemorated will develop from three phases. Phase 1 will constitute a study of the media covering the bicentenary of the abolition act. Phase 2 will be an integrated analysis of museum displays and artwork throughout the country. Phase 3 - the major phase of the project - will focus upon audience responses to a number of museum exhibitions and installations at our partner museums.
