Interviews

We recorded a total of 68 separate interviews, with 80 interviewees involved, for the Project between March 2009 and August 2010. The interviews were designed to record the experiences and opinions of a wide range of those involved in the development of the history curriculum as well as those at the ‘sharp end’ – the teachers and pupils in the classroom.  In each case, the sound file and transcript are available for downloading. In addition, a small number of informal interviews have been recorded, some of which are included below. Some of these have notes in addition to the sound recording.

Note: some interviews were conducted with pairs or groups of interviewees.
